We built Repify because we got tired of reading reviews on a Sunday.
Three operators turned founders, building review software in Spain since 2024. We make the tool we wished existed when we were running locations.
The story
In 2023 we were running between six restaurants in Madrid and Barcelona. Every Monday morning we'd open Google, look at the weekend's reviews, and find a 1★ review from Saturday night that had been sitting unanswered for 36 hours. By the time we replied, three more had landed.
We tried Birdeye. It cost more than the floor manager's salary. We tried MARA. It was great for hotels, less great for tapas bars. We tried scripts and Zapier and shared inboxes. We tried not caring. Nothing worked.
So in late 2024 we started writing what we wanted: AI drafts in our voice, ~3 minute response time, topic clustering that told us when "wait time" started trending up before it cost us a star. We open-sourced an early version, got 200 stars on GitHub, and a friend who runs a hair salon group asked if she could pay us to host it.
That was Repify v0.1. Today we run review operations for 1,800+ businesses across Europe, GDPR-native by design and built in Spain by EterSystem.
Our manifesto
Reviews are the second menu. They're what your next customer reads before they choose. Ignore them and you're letting strangers narrate your business.
Speed beats polish. A 3-minute reply that's 80% good beats a 7-day reply that's perfect. We chose drafts you can edit over forms you have to fill.
Topics over ratings. Ratings are lagging indicators. Topics tell you what's wrong while it's still cheap to fix. We weight the dashboard accordingly.
EU-first, EUR-first. We're not the cheapest knockoff of a US tool. We're built for the way European SMBs actually run, including the VAT.
No founder LinkedIn theater. We don't publish "we just raised €X" announcements. We publish what we shipped. The changelog is the press release.
The team
14 people across Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and remote. Three founders (a former restaurant operator, a former clinic admin, and an ex-Google engineer). The rest of the team is hands-on: engineering, customer success, content. We don't have a marketing department on purpose.
